*NM* in the Subject line of a post means that there is No Message to be read by clicking on the link. The entire message is visible in the index. The software inserts *NM* automatically if you do not type anything in the message field when posting.

Set Preferences If you enter your name and email address in "Preferences," they will automatically be inserted into posts you create. This information can be removed or changed when posting and the Preferences can be changed at any time.

Send E-Mail Adding your email address in the Email field produces a "Send E-Mail" link in your post. Clicking on the link will take them to an email form. The user, without knowing your address, will then be able to contact you by using the form. Your address will only be revealed if you respond to the mail you receive.

Frames These can be used to make loading faster. Frames may be unselected at any time.

Email Notification When creating a post, uncheck lower right corner box if you don't want to receive an email notification of replies to your message.

Smilies / Emoticons At HTML Hints there is a list of these "faces" that the forum software will convert into graphics. Ex: typing :) will produce
